Tyla Callow (She/her)
Tyla is a provisionally registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a student member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). Tyla is currently completing her Master of Educational and Developmental Psychology at Monash University. She works with clients across the lifespan and has a particular interest in working with children, adolescents, and young adults.
Tyla adopts a person-centred, strengths-based approach with a focus on building a strong and collaborative relationship with clients. She strives to create a safe and welcoming space where she can support her clients to reach their personal goals. Tyla incorporates a variety of evidence-based therapies to suit her client’s needs, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), and Mindfulness. Tyla is able to conduct cognitive, behavioural, and psychological assessments.
Over the last 5 years, Tyla has worked with a variety of individuals across a range of education and community settings. She is passionate about working with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, emotional regulation difficulties, and interpersonal/relationship issues.
Tyla loves animals, especially her cat, Pax, and two dogs, Bear and Isla. In her spare time, Tyla enjoys reading, music, camping, and spending time with family and friends.
